We are looking for a Partner Manager for Anchor's Financial Partnerships team. You will be responsible for developing and executing the multi-year, global strategies for building Anchor's relationships across many of our most important external partners. You will focus on designing, scaling, and continuously improving mechanisms to deepen relationships with Anchor's partners, as well as highly impactful programs key to differentiating Anchor. As part of these efforts, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Risk, etc.), and with external partners’ senior executives.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage and develop partners; think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges; as well as earn trust with and influence others. A strong sense of ownership, resilience, drive to have an impact, and entrepreneurial spirit are musts.

You will:

  • Manage Anchor most critical banking and card network, and crypto counterparty partnerships, with a focus on driving the execution of joint initiatives and launching new offerings to benefit Anchor users
  • Ensure best-in-class, methodical partner management
  • Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies
  • Navigate partners across traditional finance and crypto finance to execute deals supporting that strategy and help ensure proper execution plan in place
  • Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (including risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury) on creation and execution of partner strategy
  • Help find the right stakeholders that can champion Anchor, educate them about Anchor value proposition, understand their needs, and execute deals that address those needs and support our strategy
  • Leverage significant industry experience to help our internal teams compose our holistic strategy and to advance that strategy with partners

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • At least 4+ years of partner management or business development experience working with financial institutions and 2+ years of experience in fintech, with crypto experience or strong passion highly preferred
  • A proven track record of working in a product centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies
  • Broad and deep experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go to market models
  • Strong negotiation skills and ambitious on what we should try to do with our partners and how Anchor creates value and differentiation
  • An operationally focused mindset, with an ability to see a deal through to success, far beyond signing, leading teams through execution by using planning, metrics, and organizational structures
